Today ended up being a nice Mother’s Day with a mix of sun and clouds and temperatures rising into the mid 70s. A few small isolated showers and thunderstorms that popped up during the afternoon will dissipate later this evening leaving behind partly cloudy conditions. As you start your day off tomorrow things will be dry, although you may want to pack an umbrella just in case as spotty rain showers are possible tomorrow, though most of the day will feature a mix of sun and clouds.

We’ll get a break in the storm activity until about Friday night when the potential for more strong to severe storms are possible. The showers and storms look to stick around until the early afternoon hours on Saturday leaving us with dry conditions for the rest of the day.

Temperatures throughout the week will hover into the mid to upper 80s across West Texas.
