Today will feature abundant sunshine with just a few clouds across West Texas. High temperatures today will be cooler than yesterday as we’ll only get into the mid 80s by the afternoon. You’ll also notice a slight breeze in the air as winds will be out of the southwest sustained at 15 to 20 miles per hour. We won’t have any rain fall today, however, an approaching cold front will bring back the chance by tomorrow.
We’ll start off tomorrow with mostly sunny conditions, but then by the evening hours the chance for rain returns. Some of these showers may be strong to severe as we are in a marginal and slight risk for severe weather. Along with the chance for rain tomorrow, it’ll be a lot cooler than the past several days as high temperatures drop into the mid 70s.
We look to stay unseasonably cool until about the end of the week when temperatures finally rebound back into the mid to upper 80s.
