A cold front that as passed through West Texas has brought cooler air. Temperatures this morning are a bit cooler than the past several mornings with temperatures in the 50s. Along with the cooler air, this cold front also helped to develop some rain showers in the southern South Plains. An upper low will help to develop a few showers and storms today, however, most of us look to stay dry. The more noticeable thing you’ll feel today as you step out the door is how comfortable the air will feel. High temperatures today will only reach the 70s for many.

Tomorrow temperatures will rebound back into the 80s, but will still remain unseasonably cool as we’ll struggle to reach the lower 80s. An isolated storm or two is possible tomorrow, however, anything that develops looks to be non-severe. Isolated rain chances continue into Friday and through the weekend, and as of now nothing is looking to be severe.
