Tomorrow looks to be another severe weather day with strong to severe storms developing during the afternoon hours once again. As of now, the South Plains is under a marginal risk for severe weather, however, it could be upgraded to a slight risk. Large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
Tuesday you’ll want to be weather aware as well. An upper level low coupled with the dry line will help to spark off storms during the evening hours. This combination is going to be a bad one because this could allow for more tornadoes possible than what we saw today. As of now, we are in a slight risk for severe weather on Tuesday, but I think we will be upgraded to a moderate risk over the next two days. It is very important to stay weather aware these next couple of days because these strong and severe storms will continue.
After Tuesday the severe weather threat diminishes. We look to stay dry Wednesday and Thursday but Friday there is more severe weather.
