Dry air is winning out today, as expected. There were some showers showing up on radar this morning, but they were falling into a large area of dry air. Those did not reach the ground. Dry weather will stick with us all week, in fact. Today, Lubbock will see sunny skies by the afternoon, with a high of 64°. Tomorrow, the wind will increase to 15-20 mph, with more sunshine and no clouds. That sun will help Lubbock make it to a high of 80°.
