After a good window of seeing rain for west Texas, we will see dry air taking over on Sunday. The morning low will drop down to 42°, with light wind and partly cloudy skies. The rest of the day will see sunny skies and cool air. The high in Lubbock will hit 70°. That wind will stay at 5-10 mph, so it will be a great day to get outside and enjoy the light wind for once.
Dry weather will be in store as you start the next work and school week. Monday morning’s low temperature will be 44°. There will be light wind, so the air will feel very close to the actual temperature. Wind will remain light on Monday, as we will get mostly sunny skies, with a high temperature of 75°. The high is below average, but it will still be a great day to get outside.
