Dry weather will return by Thursday, with high temperatures getting closer to average. High pressure will be back in the forecast, so we will expect to see mostly sunny skies. The morning is going to start out with a low temperature of 40°. Wind will return to 5-10 mph Thursday, for the final time this week. That wind will come from the southwest, so we will see a high temperature reach 75°.

By the end of the week, we’ll see cooler air in the afternoon. Friday morning is going to start with mainly clear skies and a low temperature of 46°. Wind is going to increase through the day and it will be sustained at 10-15 mph. The direction will be from the east-northeast, so high temperatures will be lower. Lubbock will still make it up to 71°, but that is well below the average for this time of year.
