Things won’t be as cold on Saturday morning. The wind will stay light, but we’ll see some passing clouds. So, the low will be closer to average as it gets to 47°. Saturday afternoon will stay dry, but the wind will start to increase. It will be sustained at 10-15 mph, so that is nothing out of the ordinary. Under the mostly sunny skies, Lubbock can expect the high to climb up to 80°. So, get out and enjoy the day!
By Sunday morning, we will start to see increasing clouds returning to the region. That means low temperatures will be above average. The low in Lubbock will only be 54°. The wind is going to increase to 15-20 mph on Sunday, with isolated storms in the area at only 10%. So, if you’re going out, be sure to have an umbrella in your car. The high will make it to 78°. At least some will get some much needed rain!
