Sunday morning is going to be even warmer, as wind is going to be on the increase. The low temperature will only be 55°. The afternoon is going to see more clouds than sunshine. The wind is going to be at 10-20 mph. I can’t rule out isolated storms in the area at 10%. So, just have an umbrella in the car in case you get caught in one of these showers. We’ll remain above average, with a high temperature of 80°.
By Monday, things will get warmer and the wind will be sticking around, too. Sustained wind is going to be at 15-20 mph, with gusts to 35 mph. We’ll start the day at only 58°. The afternoon is going to see mostly sunny skies, so most of the clouds from Sunday will clear out in the afternoon hours. Lubbock will see a high temperature reach 86°. The air will be dry, so be mindful of the fire danger out there.
