The air on Sunday morning is not going to be as cold as Saturday morning. We’ll see partly cloudy skies, with a low of 45°. There will be wind around 10 mph, so it will feel like the upper 30s. The rest of Sunday is going to see sunny skies and much warmer air. The wind is going to be at 15-20 mph, with gusts to 35 mph at times. Lubbock’s high is going to climb up to 84°.
We’ll only see slightly cooler air by Monday afternoon, but highs will actually be near the average for this time of year. The morning will once again see lows in the mid 40s for Lubbock. The afternoon is looking to see more sunshine and dry air, with a high temperature reaching 73°. The wind will be at 15-20 mph, so it will feel cooler. The air will stay dry, so there will be a high fire danger through the day and week.
