Thunderstorms will try to stick around as we move into the middle of the week. Coverage is only going to be 10%, but someone will get rain during the day. Skies will begin to clear in the afternoon and mostly sunny conditions will take over. That means we’re going to see warmer air and higher temperatures area-wide. Lubbock is going to make it all the way up to a high of 96°.

There will be repeat conditions on Thursday. It will be warm, as we will only begin the day at 71°. Wind will stay light, skies will be mostly sunny and we will reach a high temperature of 95°. There will be isolated storms in the area at 10%. So, just have an umbrella in the car, just in case you run into one of these storms. Otherwise, things will be dry and warm.
