What’s left of Harvey will continue to keep rain, at least high coverage, away from the South Plains on Saturday. There will be leftover isolated storms in the area. But those storms will only cover 10% of the area. So, expect most of us to see a mix of clouds and sunshine during the day. The afternoon will see peeks of sunshine, with a high temperature of 85°. Wind will remain light, only at 5-10 mph.
Skies will begin to clear out by Sunday afternoon. We’ll see dry conditions, with any rain showers staying away from the South and Rolling Plains. We’ll return to mostly sunny skies, with light wind and a high temperature of 84°. Get out and enjoy the last day before the kids head back to school on Monday morning. Things will stay sunny and dry for Monday, as well.
