By the middle of the week, we can expect to see more sunshine peeking through the clouds. This will help to warm the air, but there will be just enough clouds to keep us below average. Lubbock will see a high temperature of 90°, with light wind. There will be more isolated storms in the area at 10%. Much like Tuesday, they will stay generally north of Lubbock.
Thursday will see most clouds clearing, giving way to mostly sunny skies and warmer air. The wind will stay light and there won’t be as much moisture in the air, but just enough to make it feel muggy. We’ll make it up to 91° here in Lubbock, with isolated storms in the area at 10%. Any place that sees rain, will see the temperature drop.
