We’ll see more clear skies and light wind on Wednesday morning, which will keep things cold. Lubbock will start off the day right at the freezing mark, with lows in the mid 20s to the northwest. We’re going to keep things sunny and dry through the day, with a high temperature reaching 68°. That west Texas wind is going to return, sustained at 10-15 mph from the west. That west wind will be responsible for the warmer air.

Our second cold front is going to affect us by Thursday. Things will be cold in the morning, but we barely stay above freezing here in Lubbock. The day will start at 33°. The dry air will stick around again, with sunny skies. Wind is going to hover at 10-15 mph, as well. So, behind the cold front, the air will be cooler as we only get to a high of 56°. That is right where we should be and it will feel more like the low 50s with that wind blowing.
