The clouds will clear the area by Friday morning and wind will stay near 10 mph. So, expect a cold start to the day, with lows down into the mid 20s again. The northwest counties will drop near 18°. Wind chills will be in the teens again, with single digit wind chills in the higher terrain. We will remain cool on Friday, even though the sun will be dominating. Lubbock will hit a high temperature of 55°.

We’ll count on another cold start to the weekend, with lows expected to be in the mid 20s again. The wind is going to hold steady at 10-15 mph on Saturday afternoon. There will be sunny skies and warmer conditions once more. We’ll watch Lubbock make it up to a high temperature of 63°. That wind will make it feel more like the upper 50s when it gets going. Another cold front will move in for Sunday, making it much colder.
