Of course, the temperature roller coaster we’ve seen since October is going to get going again Saturday. It will begin with lows above freezing, at 34° here in Lubbock. We’re going to see mostly sunny skies and much warmer conditions all over the region. Wind will be from the south and southwest early, before another cold front enters in the evening, shifting the wind to the north-northwest. Before that, we’ll see a high of 72°.
Behind the cold front, we’ll drop down to 33° Sunday morning. Be sure to dress warm if you’re going to church, or running any errands. Skies will return to sunny, with no clouds interfering with the sunshine. Wind is going to drop to only 5-10 mph, which will make for a great afternoon. We’re going to get up to a high temperature of 64°. So that cold front will not be as strong, because highs will stay above average.
