A cold front is going to come through the area on Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning. This will bring in much colder air once again. The low will drop down to 28° in Lubbock, with wind at 10-15 mph. That will make it feel like we’re in the teens to start off the day. The afternoon will be cloudy and breezy, with a high temperature of only 40°. That wind will make things feel more like the low 30s. So, be ready to bundle up on Wednesday.
We’ll get another cold morning by Thursday, with low temperatures below freezing. Lubbock will start the day at 25°, with wind at 5-10 mph. That wind will stay light in the afternoon Thursday. We’ll only see a high temperature of 47°. So, keep the jackets handy and have those heaters ready to go as you head out the door.
