The clouds will be lingering across west Texas through the day today. The big question is about wintry precipitation. As expected, there is nothing out there yet. We’ll start to see light freezing drizzle off the Caprock by mid-morning. It will stay light, so any accumulations will stay light. With that said, there will still be some slick spots off the Caprock by the lunch hour. We’ll stay in the low 30s today. Tomorrow will see clearing skies and warmer air. The wind will be at 15-20 mph, with gusts to 30 mph. The high temperature is going to make it to 53°.
