There will be cloudy skies early on Saturday morning. Those clouds will clear by mid-morning & into the early afternoon. With the sunshine will come much warmer air on Saturday. Wind will be from the west at 10-15 mph. But, the high in Lubbock will actually reach 70°. So get out & enjoy the nice, warm air that we’ll see this weekend. Highs will be closer to 73°-74° in the Rolling Plains.
Sunday will be looking at even warmer conditions. Skies will be completely sunny, with light wind. This may even be a better day to get outside, because of the light wind. Either way, highs will be climbing up into the mid 70s. That would be 20° above the average high for this time of year. So, we’re really in the middle of winter & things will not be feeling like it over the weekend.
