We’ll get another cold start to the day Thursday, with a low temperature in Lubbock of 26°. We’ll stay cloudy, with a light rain/freezing rain mix, especially in the Rolling Plains. That will transverse out of here by the afternoon. It will be a cool day, with light wind. Lubbock will see a high temperature of 47°. Lubbock will get mainly light rain, but coverage across the region is only 10%.

Dry air will take over as we move into the morning on Friday. The low will even be higher, as we start the day at 34°. Wind will increase to 10-15 mph from the south-southwest. Skies will be mostly sunny in the afternoon, with a high making it up to 64°. So we will end the week above average, after a few very cold days thrown in there.
