Lubbock will get clear skies and light wind from Thursday night, into Friday morning. That will help to get the low temperature to 32°. Expect more sunny skies on Friday, with wind increasing to 10-15 mph in the afternoon. That wind will be from the south, so we’ll see higher temperatures than Thursday. Lubbock will top out at 68°. The wind will try to make it feel a tad cooler.
As we head into the first weekend of March, we’ll expect to see wind holding steady at 10-15 mph out of the south. That will hold the low temperature to 38° Saturday morning. There will be passing cumulus clouds as a hint of moisture moves through the region. So, the afternoon will be mostly sunny, with a high reaching 70°.
