KLBK Midday Web Forecast February 6, 2017

By the middle of the week, things will not change all that much. Skies will actually clear & will be sunny, with few-to-no clouds at all in west Texas. Highs will remain in the mid 70s, close to 20° above average. The wind is going to be at 10-15 mph Wednesday, which is slowly decreasing each day this week. That is nice, but it will still be gusting, at times, to 25 mph. So, the wind is going to stay pesky all week.

A cold front, albeit weak, is going to enter the area by Thursday morning. This will drop lows from the upper 40s, to the mid 30s. So, be ready for a chilly start to the day on Thursday. The afternoon is going to see clear, sunny skies, with highs in the mid 60s. Now, this will feel much colder, but highs will still be nearly 10° above average. Wind will be sustained at 10-15 mph during the day, so it’ll feel like the low 60s.
