We will be feeling that cold air Saturday, as a cold front moves down during the day. So, the morning is going to be pretty typical with a low of 24 and wind sticking around at 10-15 mph. That wind will make things feel like we’re in the teens. The afternoon is not going to be much better. We will get mostly sunny skies out there, but the high temperature is only going to reach 45°. The wind will make it feel more like the low 30s.
Bundle up and dress in layers if you’re going to church Sunday morning. The air will be very cold! The low in Lubbock will reach 20°, with wind chill values in the low teens and single digits. The cold air will stay with us all day on Sunday. It will even be colder than what we saw on Saturday. The high will just get to 42°. With the wind at 10-15 mph, it will feel more like the upper 20s. So dress warm all day long, or just stay under a blanket!
