So, we’ll get cooler air across the region on Saturday. With that said, highs will remain above average. The morning will be cold, with a low of 28° here in Lubbock. Skies will clear and remain sunny, with more and more dry air. Our wind will shift to the north-northeast at 5-10 mph. So, it will still be a good day to be outside, even though the high will fall to 58°. The average is 55°.
We’ll get another cold morning on Sunday, with lows in the upper 20s again. That is pretty close to where we should be this time of year. Just don’t forget your coats as you head to church in the morning. Skies will stay sunny and we will actually see warmer air on Sunday afternoon. The wind will shift to the south at 5-10 mph. So, our high temperature will climb up higher than what we saw Saturday. Lubbock is going to see that high reach 61°.
