Low temperatures will remain above freezing on Wednesday morning. Lubbock is looking to start the day out at 36°. Still chilly, but really not too bad at all. Obviously the air is going to stay dry. We’ll get an even warmer day than what we saw on Tuesday. Expect west-southwest wind to come in at 10-15 mph. There will be occasional gusts to 35 mph, especially earlier in the day. Under sunny skies, we will make it up to a high temperature of 76°.

A cold front is going to whip through the region by Thursday morning. This is going to shift the wind around to the north-northeast at 10-15 mph. It will gust to 35 mph as the front passes. Behind said front, we’ll see a low temperature drop down to 33°. Not too bad really. The afternoon is looking to see sunny skies with even more dry air. The high temperature is going to fall down to 55°.
