LUBBOCK, Texas – High pressure is still in control across the region, even though we saw some light showers squeak through the eastern counties in the afternoon and evening on Tuesday. We’ll get mostly sunny skies today, with Lubbock reaching a high temperature of 92°. We’ll get much of the same tomorrow, with our typical July warmth. Wind will drop to 5-10 mph on Thursday, as we make it to an average high of 93°.
