Sunday morning will see more clouds in the area, but those clouds won’t block the sun too much at all. We’re going to see a mostly sunny afternoon for Sunday. Highs will be lower, as we’ll make it up to 92°. The wind will be light, at 5-10 mph. The afternoon and evening will see isolated storms move into the area from the high terrain of New Mexico. Coverage will be 20%. A cold front to the north will wash out and will not affect us.
There will be leftover showers and thunderstorms in the area Sunday night, into the morning on Monday. These storms will stay isolated and coverage will only be at 10%. The storms will really last through noon, if we do see any. Otherwise, Monday is looking to be partly sunny, with a high of 90° in Lubbock. Wind will stay light, at 5-10 mph.
