The warmth will be sticking around through the day on Thursday. High pressure will begin to move away to the west, but we’ll still be getting that summer sun. Skies will be mostly sunny, with a few breaks, thanks to passing cumulus. Lubbock can expect a high temperature of 96°. Wind is going to be light, so that will not help us out much.
The end of the week is still looking to be mostly sunny and warm. High temperatures will be closer to average, but will still stay a few degrees above where we should be. We’re going to get up to 95° on Friday. But, a cold front will be approaching giving us a shot at some rain by Sunday night and during the day on Monday.
