The end of the week will not see too much changing here across west Texas. The wind will drop down to 5-10 mph on Friday, so it will actually be feeling warmer out there than it actually is. The day is going to stay mostly sunny, with a high temperature of 96°. The high pressure ridge will move out, but another one will begin to build in for Friday and Saturday, before a low will bring in changing weather Sunday night.
Friday night, into Saturday morning, will be another clear and calm night. The wind will be dropping to 5-10 mph, so things will will be quiet. The afternoon is looking to remain mostly sunny, as we would expect for the end of July. Highs will jump back up above average, as we make it to 95°. The changes won’t occur until Sunday night, when we’ll see isolated storms and cooler air for next week.
