We’re going to see more triple digit heat as we head into the first weekend of summer. Low temperatures will only be in the mid 70s by Saturday morning. The afternoon is going to remain sunny and dry. Wind is going to be at 10-15 mph, with a high making it up to 101°. Remember to be hydrated and have plenty of sunscreen if you will be outside.
We’ll see much of the same on Sunday. Unfortunately, Mother Nature got the message that summer time is here. The heat is going to be cranked up in the afternoon, under sunny skies and 10-15 mph wind. The wind will barley help to try to cool things down, so don’t count on it. Lubbock’s high is going to be 100° yet again.
