The final day of June is looking to see an increase of cloud cover. There will be a few showers and storms around the area Friday night, into the early part of Saturday morning. The day on Saturday is looking dry and warm. Those clouds will increase, but will not keep the warm air out of the region. Lubbock is going to see a high of 94°. There will be a few more storms in the area late Saturday, into Sunday morning.

Sunday is looking to see more clouds than sunshine, thanks to some monsoonal moisture coming in from the southwest. So, even with the clouds in the area, we’ll still see highs just above average. Expect to have wind at 10-15 mph, with isolated showers and storms in the area at 20%. Lubbock will get to a high temperature of 93°. This will be the coolest day through July 4.
