As we move into Friday, I know there are high school graduations going on. The weather will cooperate for any activities outside Friday. Skies will be mostly sunny, with the wind dropping to 10-15 mph. Things are actually looking warmer. Originally, it looked like highs would be in the upper 70s. Now, the forecast is for Lubbock to reach 83°. Can’t rule out isolated storms Friday night at 10%.
Saturday is another graduation day, one that will include graduation activities at Texas Tech University. We’ll start the day at 52° under mainly clear skies. The afternoon is looking beautiful. Skies will be mostly sunny, with wind at 10-15 mph area wide. Lubbock’s high will make it to 72°. So, the air will be cooler, but it will feel nice outside Saturday. Things will stay dry, as well.
