Behind the cold front, we’re going to see a much cooler day for Saturday. Skies are going to remain mostly sunny, the air will be dry all over the region. The wind is going to increase only to 10-15 mph in the afternoon, which is pretty normal across west Texas. Lubbock will be looking at a high temperature of 76° tomorrow. That will feel cooler just because of the wind and dry air we’ll have over us.
The end of the weekend is shaping up to see slightly warmer air, but highs will still remain below average. The wind will, once again, return to 5-10 mph, much like we’ll see on Friday. Any clouds that were in the area Saturday will exit the area by Sunday mid-morning. So, skies are going to be sunny all day long Sunday. The air is going to stay dry and Lubbock will watch the high reach 82°. It will be a comfortable day, get out and enjoy it if you can. Just don’t forget to use plenty of sunscreen.
