A dry cold front is going to be moving in Thursday night and will affect us on Friday. We will see a wind shift and drop in high temperatures behind the cold front. Friday will see the wind from the north-northeast at 10-15 mph, with higher end gusts at times reaching 25 mph. The morning will start out with a low of 52°. The afternoon is looking to be mostly sunny, with a high temperature of 79°.

As we move into the weekend, we will get a wonderful day to get outside on Saturday. The morning will be clear and calm, with a low of 51°. The afternoon is going to see plenty of sun, blue skies and light wind. Lemonade Day is on Saturday and the weather will make you want to go to several lemonade stands. We wouldn’t ask for a better day for the kids. Lubbock will see sunny skies, 5-10 mph wind and a high of 83°.
