As we move into the weekend, we will notice the air warming up, but the wind will be dropping. It’s always great to talk about light wind, especially on the weekend! Saturday is Lemonade Day in Lubbock and the weather will make you want to go to several stands across the city. We will see sunny skies, with wind only at 5-10 mph. Lubbock will make it to a high temperature of 84°. This will make you really thirsty for a lot of lemonade!
By Sunday, the morning will actually see low temperatures above average. Wind will stay light, only getting to 5-10 mph in the afternoon. The flow pattern on Sunday will be from the southwest, which means the air is going to stay dry and warm. So, we will expect to see a high temperature of 87° under sunny skies. If we don’t get rain in the forecast, at least the weather is good for outdoor activities this weekend.
