We’ll see another cold morning as we move into Thursday, so don’t put the heavy coats away just yet. The roller coaster ride of Autumn high temperatures continues. Lubbock will get down to 36°, with wind increasing by mid-morning. The afternoon is going to see mostly sunny skies, so some cumulus clouds will be arriving to the region. We’ll see a high temperature of 57°, with wind at 10-15 mph. So, expect it to feel more like the upper 40s during the day.
We’re going to round out the week with mostly sunny skies and relatively warmer air. The wind is going to shift around to the south-southwest at 10-15 mph. So that is going to pump in the warm and dry air for Friday afternoon. We can expect Lubbock to make it up to a high temperature of 67°. That will be ten degrees higher than what we saw on Thursday and will feel more like the low 60s with the wind.
