The weekend is going to begin with not so cold conditions. Lubbock will drop down to 49°, which is still chilly, but really not all that bad. We’re going to see wind stay at 10-15 mph from the south-southwest. That wind will help to bring in warmer air on Saturday. Lubbock will make it up to a high temperature of 75°. The wind will be the only issue for the Veterans Day Parade, so just keep that in mind.
By Sunday, another weak low pressure system will bring in cooler conditions. The wind is going to stay at 10-15 mph, but it will be from the west. So, we will be dropping down to a high temperature of 64°. That is going to be back down below average. So, the Autumn temperature roller coaster ride is going to continue through the middle part of November.
