The wind will begin to shift around to the south-southwest by Wednesday afternoon. It will be a chilly morning, as lows will be in the mid 30s to the northwest and low 40s for most other locations. The skies will remain sunny and we will see highs closer to average area-wide. Lubbock will make it up to a high temperature of 73°. Other than that, things will stay just sunny and dry.

We’ll see even warmer air moving into the region by Thursday. Lows will start in the low 50s, while the afternoon will see wind at 5-10 mph from the south-southwest. That south-southwest wind is going to allow for higher temperatures to briefly come back. Lubbock is going to see a high of 81°. The warmest day is going to be on Friday, before we get a cool down on Sunday.
