The clouds will be sticking around the area, mixing with the sunshine for Sunday. We’ll begin the day with partly cloudy skies and a low of 65°. The clouds that mix with the sunshine are going to be able to keep highs below 90° for most locations. The Rolling Plains will be in the low 90s by afternoon. Lubbock is going to expect partly sunny skies, with a high temperature of 88°. The wind is going to drop back down to 5-10 mph.
The next work and school week will begin with no school for Lubbock ISD on Monday. There will be light wind all day long, only staying at 5-10 mph. Skies will become mostly sunny, with some fair-weather cumulus clouds passing through. The afternoon will continue to see above average highs for most of us. The northwest counties will be closer to average. Lubbock is looking at a high of 87°.
