The showers and thunderstorms will begin to taper off by Thursday. That doesn’t mean that we are going to be completely dry. There will be more of a scattered variety to the showers and storms. So, coverage will be lower, only 30%. Still, we will see some locations getting .50″ of rain during the day. With the skies staying cloudy and with those locations that do see rain, highs will stay well below average, as we make it to 66°.

The end of the week will still be looking at cloudy skies across the region. That and all of the rain we have seen this week, will help to keep high temperatures into the 60s. In fact, Lubbock will only see a high temperature of 67°. There will be leftover storms in the area, but only at 20%. So, you should still have the rain gear in the car, but storms will not cover as much area as they did earlier in the week.
