There will be clear skies and cool air in the region for Sunday morning, so lows will dip down into the upper 50s for Lubbock and southern areas. The Rolling Plains will be in the low 60s and northwestern counties in the mid 50s. We’ll see a nice, Autumn-like Sunday afternoon, with light wind. We’re going to make it up to a high temperature of 83° in Lubbock, under sunny skies.

The start to the next work and school week will be looking at clear skies and temperatures in the upper 50s again in the morning. A light jacket at the bus stop is a great idea. Monday afternoon is going to remain sunny and dry under high pressure. So, we’re going to see a high temperature of 87°, which is right where we should be for this time of year.
