KLBK October 22nd Morning Forecast

Happy Monday! This past weekend was one of the best Fall weekends so far. Temperatures we’re very comfortable and sunshine dominated across the area. Today will be a little different than this past weekend. While we’ll still have sunshine today. high temperatures will get back up into the 70s making it feel a little warmer than the past several days. The warmer conditions will only last through today as a weak cold front arriving Tuesday afternoon will bring our temperatures into the mid to upper 60s.

Sunshine will continue through much of Tuesday, but rain from the west will push east during the evening on Tuesday. Rain chances on Tuesday will only be at 20%, but the better chance for rain comes on Wednesday. Rain will continue overnight Tuesday into Wednesday impacting your morning commute. Widespread rain will continue into the early afternoon before moving off to the east and clearing out of the South Plains by the evening hours. With overcast conditions all day on Wednesday, high temperatures will struggle to reach the upper 40s.

Once the rain clears out on Wednesday, we’ll be left with sunny and dry conditions on Thursday and highs getting back up into the mid to upper 60s.

Have a great week!
