Showers and storms continue this evening with some possibly being strong to severe. Things stay cool tonight as we drop into the mid to upper 60s with some areas remaining even cooler. We stay cool yet again tomorrow with highs only reaching the upper 60s to low 70s. On and off showers and storms are expected tomorrow at 50%, so you will want to bring an umbrella as you head out for morning services and where-ever else you may be before that. Strong to severe storms are possible tomorrow as we are in a slight risk for severe weather. Keep up with KLBK for all of the latest updates. Much of the South Plains is under a flood watch until Monday evening. Rainfall amounts will range anywhere from 1-3″ in the South Plains and 3-6″ in the Rolling Plains with locally higher amounts. Be sure to avoid any flooded roadways you may come across.
The cooler weather continues all week as we stay in the low to mid 70s throughout the weekend into next week.
Enjoy your weekend!
