Happy first day of Fall! Today certainly felt like fall. This morning was off to a chilly start with temperatures into the 50s and some 40s off to the northwest. As sunshine dominated the day, high temperatures reached the mid to upper 70s.

Tonight will be much of a repeat as last night with chilly temperatures. Lows will range anywhere from the low 50s to the upper 40s. A jacket will be needed if you head out tonight or if you head out to early morning services as temperatures will dip into the low 50s to upper 40s. Tomorrow will be the first *full* day of Autumn (Fall officially starts at 8:54 PM tonight), and it will be a spectacular day. Wall to wall sunshine is expected tomorrow across the South Plains with high temperatures topping out at the upper 70s to low 80s.

As the week progresses we’re going to warm up with the highest temperature this week at 88°. However, we are tracking major changes on the way as a cold front will sweep through the region Tuesday into Wednesday dropping HIGH temperatures into the 60s! Along with the much cooler temperatures, this cold front is expected to bring some isolated to scattered rain showers.

We look to warm up by the end of the week into the weekend, but we are watching the chance for rain by the end of the workweek lasting through the weekend.

Have a great night!
