Yesterday was a dreary day with clouds and rain throughout the day, but it finally felt like fall. The high temperature yesterday was 65°, however, that was at 12:08 AM. The afternoon temperature was in the upper 40s to low 50s which was recorded at the day’s low temperature.
If you’re hoping Fall-like temperatures would stick around, unfortunately it’s not going to happen. Things return back to “normal” which means we return to the warmth and the summer-like feel and dry conditions dominate. Today will be a pleasant day with sunshine across the area and high temperatures getting to the upper 70s. It is still below normal as today’s average temperature is 81°.
While today will feel pleasant, things get warmer by the end of the week. High temperatures tomorrow will get to the mid to upper 80s.
The Tech game on Saturday looks to be fantastic with high temperatures in the upper 60s by kickoff, but be sure to grab a jacket if you plan to tailgate before the game as temperatures will be in the upper 50s to low 60s.
