Happy Saturday South Plains! Today was a fantastic day with high temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s and sunshine! If you’re hoping conditions will stay like this into the tomorrow you’re in luck! Tomorrow will be a repeat of today. Sunny skies and highs in the low 80s, another beautiful day to spend outdoors.

While we’ll have sunny conditions for the next couple of days, there is some rain in the forecast but you’ll have to wait until midweek. Unfortunately, this rain will be more isolated in nature rather than widespread, but we’ll take what we can get. Rain chances begin late on Tuesday with an isolated chance overnight on Tuesday into early Wednesday morning. The isolated rain chances continue into Wednesday and Thursday. As of now, the better chance for rain looks to be on Friday at 10% as there is more of an agreement in rain chances. Saturday there’s a chance for rain, but since it’s still a ways out things can change.

As for now, enjoy this evening and Sunday because they’re sure to be good ones.
