We’ll remain clear tonight but it will be a few degrees warmer. Lows will fall into the middle and upper 40s. Even warmer weather is expected on Thursday with the arrival of winter.

Extended Forecast:
Unseasonably warm weather will continue on Thursday with highs in the lower to middle 70s across the area. A cold front will arrive Thursday night, dropping highs on Friday back into the 40s. We’ll jump back into the 50s on Saturday before an even stronger front drops us back into the 30s on Christmas Eve (Sunday). Highs will warm back into the 40s on Christmas Day (Monday) and into the 50s on Tuesday. Overnight lows will drop into the 20s Friday and Saturday morning. It’ll be colder Sunday and Monday morning with lows in the 10s. Low temperatures warm back into the 20s Tuesday morning. Some of the morning forecast model runs are showing some light precipitation on Friday, mainly across the parts of the Rolling Plains. All model runs have taken any snow chances for Sunday out of the forecast and have backed off on the colder air mass as well.
