Happy Tuesday everyone! It has been another cool day across the South Plains with highs back in the low 60’s. We had an influx in cloud cover today but this will dissipate by late tonight and early tomorrow morning. As the clouds clear, we will start to see temperatures begin their upward climb with highs moving into the upper 60’s on Wednesday afternoon and then back into the low 80’s on Thursday. This warm and mild weather will be short-lived though as our next cold front slides across the region. This will occur Thursday night into Friday morning bringing a drop in temperatures, an increase in cloud cover, and the slight possibility for some light showers. Temperatures will remain in the 70’s for the remainder of this week and the beginning of next week.
