Happy Tuesday everyone! It has been a beautiful and sunny day across the South Plains with highs remaining at or below average. Temperatures will quickly climb throughout the remainder of the work week with highs moving into the upper 70’s on Wednesday, upper 80’s on Thursday, and then the low 90’s on Friday. Sunshine will remain abundant throughout the next few days but cloud cover will start to increase on Friday. This is all due to our next cold front that will arrive on Saturday. Temperatures will drop into the mid-80’s over the weekend and winds will kick up into the 20-40 MPH range. This means that blowing dust is expected yet again and fire weather danger will be an issue over the weekend and throughout the beginning of next week.
