Happy Tuesday everyone! It has been a cool, mild, and overcast day across the South Plains with temperatures remaining way below average  following the passage of the cold front this morning. It did bring some light rain to the region earlier today, but we will dry out very quickly with abundant sunshine expected throughout the remainder of the work week and into the weekend. We are also expecting a rapid warm up in temperatures through this upcoming Saturday with highs moving into the mid to upper 90’s beginning in Thursday. However, another front will push into the region on Sunday and we watch for another cool down and chance for storms just in time for Memorial Day.
